Made in China
Well, a while ago I was looking at the foot thing for my drums and I see a sticker that said "made in china". Seeing as I'm desparate for something to think and type about, I thought about it. And thinking about it got me to thinking...who makes the made in china stickers? I mean, can you imagine being the people who make those? Hopefully the sticker-makers are actually chinese. I'd hate to see some American guy at a sticker station making "Made in China" stickers. I'd be tempted to change it to "Made in China - Sticker made in USA". Maybe even "Made in China - Sticker made in USA, but the sticker-maker is Canadian". Now that would be fun.
But of course, some Made-in-China things aren't even stickers. They're like, indented in the back of Buzz Lightyear's knee. Really, are they even needed? We all know everything is made in China, so they don't have to rub it in. The USA doesn't put "Made in USA" on everything do they? Well, actually...yes they do. Canadians do too, actually. But at least we have an excuse to proclaim our made-in-our-own-country-ness. You rarely see anything that's made in Canada that doesn't have some sort of Canadian meaning to it, like Mapel Syrup or that Canadian puzzle you got at the garage sale next door. The one with snow, of course. I wonder what it would be like in another country to see one that's made in Canada. "Wow, this one's made up north! Last time I saw one of these was when I bought that igloo kit!"
Now, I have nothing against the Chinese, but they have to stop printing their name on everything. You see, now the whole world makes fun of them for it. "This place makes everything." "China!" Or you see one guy on the news who's chinese and you think how overworked he is, 'cause he alone obviously made all your stuff.
Also, why in the world would we buy their stuff anyway? I mean, when you say dig to china, there's a reason for that. It's probably a lot faster to dig than to go all the way around the earth. And you could easily just drop the stuff in the hole and it'd fall right through to the other side. Sure there's the part where it melts, but that's ok. Er, the point is, China's a long way away. We can make our own dolls, can't we? It's not that hard when you get the hang of it. Not that I would know, of course... *nevous laugh*

note: if you take all that seriously, um...don't.
